We spoke to Jared yesterday for the last time in Tanzania. He leaves the City Of Hope really early tomorrow morning. He will arrive in Greensboro Tues evening. He travels with Mwita and Glen to Nirobi, Kenya, then with Glen to Zurich, Mwita is flying British Air separately. Then he comes into Dullus and then home. Will be glad to see him, although he may not know much for a day or two because of jet lag.
Can't wait to develope his pics. will post them as they become available.

Signs
I called Jared yest. am as our Sun conversation was really brief.
He is feeling better and painting informational signs leading to the City.
He said the dogs were now being cared for by the guards, that their chain link pen was now complete so they can get exercise.
He said they had about 25 people for their Thanksgiving meal. They built a fire pit out side with charcoal and boiled the turkey first and then deep fried it in oil. He said it tasted really good.
The beds for the kids are about done, and toilets now have tanks on them for flushing. So they don't have to use the buckets anymore, quite and improvement.
It's a blessing having Glen there, he's a very capable person.

Thanksgiving
Hi
Jared said that he had a great Thanksgiving, they invited some of the neighboring villagers to come to a group dinner. They had traditional Thanksgiving with turkey, gravy, mashed potato, sweet potato, green beans, stuffing. I am glad they had all those people, I am sure it was a lot of fun.
He said that he was sick a little bit last wk, but feeling better now. We had short phone call, his cell phone wasn't charged. When he realized it, the generator wasn't on so he couldn't charge it, oh well, next wk..
