Hello All, Once Again.

Hello again, from Tanzania!
A team of twenty young people have recently visited us and have now left. They were here taking photos and working on our site with us. They were a big blessing!
I am doing well, adjusting, seeing as time is 7 hours ahead, and I have only been here for 3 weeks. Learning to adapt to the time difference has been a big challenge thus far. I am healthy and eating well! The food is great! It's cool to see all the bananas and avocados growing in our area. We have water, but the pipes aren't finished yet, basically the plumbing is still not finished. We just go and collect buckets of cold water to bathe with, this is another adjustment. We do have a generator that works from 7 pm until 11 pm. I still have no internet access, so I am passing these notes along through famaily, for now. We are still working on the compound fence as well as the plumbing. We've been teaching some of the village children in the school, because sometimes the teacher's do not even show up....it's definitely not like American schooling!!! The kids love and crave learning! They have battered up books, that can barely be used, but you can tell by looking at them, that these kids really do use them until they fall to pieces! We have been able to put up a net so we can play soccer and volleyball with the kids....before the young people came on the missions trip here, we didn't have any balls and the kids would use knotted up socks or t-shirts for the balls! The kids loved it when they got REAL balls!!!
I am including some pictures with this post, that were taken by various people on the trip. I will be adding more (again through family) the rest of this week. Enjoy!
