Hello to All
Spoke with Jared yesterday, I was wrong about the corn field, they planted and harvested 15 acres of corn, not 5. He said he's never seen so much corn.. they will sell in the village for people to grind for grain and other uses..
They are making bee boxes so they will have their own honey to use and sell. The City of Hope has a desire to be self sufficient. They are making the boxes out of unprocessed, rough lumber. So they have to plane the boards/lumber as even as possible before building.
They are working on solar power for a freezer, they have the panel now and the frame work.
There's a lot to do there, but they still are planning to have the children there by Nov. What a reward that will be, giving all those young people a chance at a whole new life, in a safe and protected environment where they can know about God and how He cares for them.
